WE ASKED THEM TO CAPTURE 1 DAY (24HOURS)
Meet Johnny and Joan
Johnny is my 4 year old son. There is a school holiday today. That means there is no alarm. In bed, we cuddle. I kiss him over 50 times. Upon leaving the bed, he decides what animal he wants to be: a Malaysian bear. Having his breakfast as a Malaysian Bear, I feed him while watching TV at the small table on the floor. I hear him announce to me that he has returned to Johnny and begins playing with his complete Schleich Dinosaur collection, including volcanoes and research stations. He takes a Pachycephalosaurs and Ankylosaurus with him when takes a bath, they have big fights going on on. The sounds and his outstanding empathy are to die for.
We're going to Artis, the Amsterdam Zoo. Johnny is a true animal lover at heart. As we ride the bike, I tell him that he can buy a stuffed animal at the zoo entrance. As someone who suffers from a buying addiction, you can imagine his happiness. The moment we enter the shop, he is delighted to see his favorite animal stuffed with pluche in Artis. It is a red ruffed lemur monkey.
We entered the zoo. We grab a small cart which is for the little ones but we need it since my boy is not a Johnny Walker. We visited the porcupine, sloth, reptile house, bats, red ruffed lemur monkeys, gorillas, chimpanzees, tapir and the leopard. We walk, we talk, and we laugh a lot because Johnny is a joker. As a mother of one, I enjoy my easy life a bit more when I am surrounded by stressed parents and stormy children.
We turn back home, we chill in the house. I am cooking dinner for Johnny with all his favorite vegetables while he draws monsters. While watching TV, he eats it. His pyjamas are on, I sit with him on the couch and we watch Dino Dana. He falls asleep in my arms and that's how Johnny ends the day.
