You’ll be working in our Brandstore in the heart of Amsterdam’s Jordaan district, surrounded by our own collections and a carefully curated selection of other brands. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team, with a varied role ranging from advising customers and processing new stock to packing webshop orders and providing customer service.

You’ll work independently, while being part of a small team where we work together to make sure everything runs smoothly.

About the job

As a Sales Assistant at Repose AMS, you’ll independently run our Brandstore on Elandsgracht during your working day. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, making sure customers receive friendly and helpful service and that the store always looks tidy, welcoming and well presented.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming, advising and assisting customers
• Keeping the store and staff areas tidy, organised and well presented 
• Receiving and processing new deliveries
• Picking, checking, packing and processing webshop orders
• Providing customer service via email, including questions about orders, deliveries and returns
• Working with Shopify and the various systems we use in store
• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Brandstore

It’s an independent and varied role that brings together retail, e-commerce and customer service.

This is who you are

We’re looking for someone with retail experience and a genuine love for shops and retail. You have an affinity with children’s clothing, Repose AMS and the brands we carry, and you enjoy working with beautiful, high-quality products.

You’re independent, hands-on and naturally see what needs to be done. You work in an organised and accurate way, take responsibility and feel comfortable running the store independently throughout the day.

You’re also digitally savvy. You’re confident working with computers and different systems, quickly get the hang of new software and aren’t afraid to figure things out yourself when something doesn’t work straight away. Experience with Shopify is a plus.

• You’re customer-focused and a strong communicator
• You have a commercial mindset and enjoy selling
• You’re reliable and have a strong sense of responsibility
• You’re flexible and a team player
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English
• You’re available 2–3 days per week, including one weekend day
