Sunday mornings are always about fresh orange juice and fresh bread. It takes time to do these morning chores but it's something that my kids really love and they understand the process. Picking up oranges, squeezing them, and going to our local store to buy a freshly made bread. And last decorating the table, so much to do before we can sit down and enjoy.
In the mornings, we like to go for walks, either to the forest or near the sea, or we might end up at our neighbour feeding chickens. The kids can choose what they want to do. We now take our newest member of the family, puppy Marley for a walk with us too.
After our activity we usually end up driving somewhere. Last Sunday, we visited a town where Diogo grew up, we ate some hotdogs, and walked 3km to get some ice cream. After that, everyone was tired so we sat back in the car for a not-so-long drive back home. When possible we like to finish our day with a local beach sunset, or watching the sunset from cliffs. We say our goodbyes to the sun, to the sea, and to all the creatures. After that it is just all rush, rush, rush to get dinner and showers done.
